Exhaustion

Yesterday five clients had agendas based on exhaustion. It’s apparently trending…sometimes with a heroic bravado.

Below are four contemplative questions I asked each client:
•What story are you living where exhaustion must be one your key players?
•How does the exhaustion habit serve you?
•Tell me, where does exhaustion live in your body and what does it want you to know?

Their homework ?
•Each day go deep into a nap mid-morning and mid-afternoon until the exhaustion dissipates,
•Start learning how to say “Yes” to only those things that you are passionate about and will liberate life-sustaining energies.
•Each day write your contemplations on the questions above.

  1. Thank you, Ann Marie. This is extremely helpful for me personally and most likely for several of my friends. We all seem to suffer from exhaustion and blame it on work. Doubt that I can do the napping, but I definitely need to work on why exhaustion is one of the key players in my life. Thanks so much again. Corrie
