The Good Enough Mindset

I am good enough.
You are good enough.
We are good enough.

In the beginning
Developing the Good Enough Mindset
Requires constant repetition
To ward off the Inner Critic
Who only believes in perfection.

The Good Enough Mindset
Gives permission
For curiosity, exploration, trust and commitment
To live wholeheartedly.

Just for today use
The three statements below
As mantras.

I am good enough.
You are good enough.
We are good enough.

Staying focused ~ A mindfulness practice

Monkey Mind’s nature is to jump from one thought to the next.
Gremlin’s nature is to ruthlessly bully you.
Inner Critic’s nature is to question your abilities to move forward.

By keeping you unfocused, defensive and paralyzed your life becomes blocked with stagnant qi.

Top of the Hour Breath Meditation.
Focus on and activate your breath.
Inhale deeply. Exhale deeper.
Keep your awareness with your breath

Purposefully LeapFrog over Monkey Mind, Gremlin and Inner Critic’s destructive comments.

No need to linger.
This is Mind Training at its’ best!

Don’t believe everything you think.

Monkey Mind, Inner Critic and Gremlin are grand manipulators.
They will put you into trance by giving you an outdated belief system.

Be aware of their ploys and how they manage you.
Remember ~ Utilize antidotes.
Remember ~ Meditate and get underneath it all.
Remember ~ Do not take your life personally.
Remember ~ Don’t believe everything you think.

Leapfrogging time!

When the Monkey Mind, Inner Critic and Gremlin have you looking at the world through a limited viewpoint…leapfrog over and land in Beginners Mind where everything is possible.

No one knows what will happen next. And we aren’t sure what just happened.

Bottomline: Live in this moment participating fully. When necessary leapfrog over all thought forms that are Spirit Killers.

This is another form of mind training. Remain diligent.

Practice is Reining in the Mind

Each day we sit on our cushions we keep awareness alive.

As Monkey Mind mutters, chatters and stews
As Inner Critic paints harsh judgements
As Gremlin bullies ourselves and others
We sit, settle and train our minds.

We rein in our minds
With wholehearted determination and curiosity.
We continue coming back to the breath.
We continue coming back to this moment.
We continue being here now.

No negotiation.

In-Joy

Monkey Mind enjoys spinning. Inner Critic enjoys duality. Gremlin enjoys bullying.

None of them are you.

What do you enjoy?

Story Lines

Story Lines can be invaluable when it is time to learn something. But when the teaching is over, the need for the Story Line is over. By letting go and moving away from the story we open up into even more of who we are.

Story Lines of Glass.
Ann-Marie McKelvey

A Mindful Practice for Today!
•Choose the Story Line that has stopped serving you.
•Firmly order your Monkey Mind to stop juicing the Story Line with attention.
•Tell your Inner Critic to walk away from it and find another Story Line that will serve you.
•Watch your Gremlin put the unneeded Story Line on the back parking lot of your mind.
•And now…settle into the aliveness within you…what do you notice?
•Keep me posted! I’m doin’ it with you!

“It’s only in the looking back do we see the straight and narrow.”
Darrell Scott – Crooked Road.

It can always be tweaked!

Today is the day to commit….and tweak!

Commit to the big one. The little one. The one you committed to years ago and forgot about. Commit to the one that still lives in you. Choose and commit!

Every thing is tweaked once the commitment has been made.

Commit! Move forward. Feel what it is like on this side.

I’m in. You?

(Pssst….How to jump over the fear? Remind your Monkey Mind and Inner Critic it can always be tweaked!)

Creating Them* as Your Allies

•Cut away all the storylines and go into Stillness.
•Listen to IC, MM and G* from your heart.
•Speak to Them* from your heart.
•Listen again…now even deeper.

•Ask IC, MM, and G* how they can guide you and become your ally.
•LIsten to the story presently told.
•Amplify and manifest by finding a tangible object to represent their answer.
•Proceed into what needs to be acted on in this moment.
•Open to what is. Open to Just This.

*IC = Inner Critic
*MM = Monkey Mind
*G = Gremlin

Remember: No guts, no glory!
